Our Mission Statement

"ShowJesus exists to support and enable personal evangelism"

Show Jesus is an organisation that has grown out of the annual agricultural and county shows that take place across Wales and the South West of England every year. Many groups have been doing this work in their local area for many decades, and in 2007 they joined to shared resources and experience – thus Show Jesus was formed.

In support of these goals the is currently one major project which is to provide Logisitical Support for Outreach.

Through providing for the physical and logistical requirements of outreach projects ShowJesus seeks to reduce the burden on teams who want to work in these areas. The needs are often similar across locations and by building up a pool of shared resources ShowJesus is reducing costs for all concerned and allowing the focus to remain on evangelism for those with a calling in this area.

Instead of relying on commerical providers for the rental of resources for each event ShowJesus is bringing together the resources that have been accumulated by various teams over many years. These are also being augmenting with modern, state of the art equipment to truly bring a professional twenty first century solution that individuals and local churches can be proud to be associated with.

ShowJesus has a vision to be able to turn up at a site with a lorry containing all of the necessary equipment to run an event such as a family fun day or county show. All that a local group of christians need to do is provide the advertising and manpower to run the event rather than worry about all of the equipment that is required.

How can you be involved in these projects?

ShowJesus is currently building up list of friends who are share the vision and are interesting in being involved as the work moves forward.

Without a large team of "Friends" who are willing to spread the Word to their own friends the value of the project is diminished. Sign Up now for more information and to be involved.

The project is entirely self financing and we encourage all who share our vision to prayfully consider supporting the work on a regular and ongoing basis The projec receives no major ongoing grants and without grass roots support will simply cease to exist..

On a practical front we also aim to build a mailing list that can be contacted for specific help when required. For example teams of volunteers who may be available to help in practical ways are urgently needed.
